These names are registered in anticipation that clients looking for web site development by us may have a ready domain name for their use.
What is a Domain Name and why should I need one?
- Every business must have an identity and an address. When you want your business to go online, you need to give it a memorable web address. Ideally, the web address should be the name of your company but after tens of millions of web addresses have been registered, the name of your company may have been taken up.
- The next best thing you can do is to register a descriptive name, but that is not easy either because memorable names are few and the ones suitable for use may be fewer still. Without a good domain name, it is hard for customers and clients to remember your company.
- Knowing the difficulty we and our clients may face while trying to have an online presence, we have registered several names for future development. Domain names are "cyber-real-estates" and every single one is unique. Shorter names are usually preferable and rarer these days. Thus, not all of the names here are for sale - many are for lease only, and some for our own business development/use.
- Why do some names cost more than others? Shorter names are easier to remember. Some names lend themselves to more commercial development (if you own one of these good names, you probably could sell it after you have no use for it). Names ending with a ".com" are preferred over other extensions. Names ending with ".tv" are premium names and have their own pricing.
How do I choose a Domain Name for my business?
1) If your business name to be used for the domain name is no longer available, you may pick a descriptive name from our selection or from other owners!
2) Choose one in the same category that your business is in. To offer us a reasonable price, we ask that you get the name you are interested appraised for its fair value. Our selling price will be the average of the minimum and maximum of the appraised price but we will also lease the name to you with the option to buy.
3) Remember that a good domain name is hard to come by, and may make a difference to your branding and profits, and affect your company's image and customer's retention of your web site address. |
